16-06-2010 RODA - Abrigo received a wheelchair

As part of the campaign for the exchange of plastic covers for wheelchairs sponsored by the city of Macau and the company Valnor - Company Valuation and Treatment of Solid Waste, Household Shelter, located in the village of Roda received in June 2, a wheelchair.

9 chairs were delivered to the charities who had received in 2008. The collection of plastic covers that gives rise to this delivery went so that in two years could raise caps to nine seats.

Although now all the Private Institutions of Social Solidarity (PISS) are served with wheelchairs, the campaign will be to continue, possibly with another type of distribution of orthopedic material.

On May 13, 2008 were randomly selected 3 seats of which 2 of them came to the parish of Cardigos, particularly for the Santa Casa da Misericordia de Cardigos and the Centro de Dia, Apoio e Acolhimento de Vales.
