16-06-2010 Cardigos - II Tournament Sueca inter associations

 The Association of Freixoeiro came out winner of II tournament inter Cardigos neighborhood associations that took place last June 3 at the ball field pavilion of Galitos.

The organization of this second tournament fell to the winners of last year, the Association of Hunters Cardigos, having participated in this event 12 associations and 36 teams, with each association by three teams competed.
At the end of the tournament there was room for a dinner gathering, provision of the Association of Hunters Cardigos.

This idea came in 2009 by the Association "The Galit" and the goal was that every year the associations of the parish come together in the same space to socialize, exchange ideas and experiences. The Association won a year organize the event next year. Consequently and following the goals outlined for the year moves and socializing take place in Freixoeiro, organized by the local association.

 The Sueca game was introduced in Brazil by the Portuguese, although no one knows the true origin of the game. Popular the game is played all over the country and across all social strata. The goal is to make the rounds doing as many points as possible, not always the double winning more rounds wins the game, so it's important to win the rounds which are played more points.
